damian3 smallDamian’s interest in an active lifestyle started already as a young boy. He grew up on the Gold Coast playing many different sports, cricket and rugby league were his favourites. He represented Queensland in all underage cricket championships and he decided to focus on his cricket career in favour of other sports. Damian has been successfully playing for the Gold Coast Dolphins for 17 years and also spent seven summer seasons in England playing professional cricket, which is a great achievement and experience that he will never forget.

Becoming a Trainer

Damian started to enjoy the fitness side of sports in his late teens, it was a natural progression for him from playing sports to now working with fitness, a career choice that has proved to be very successful. As he moved back to the Gold Coast permanently, he started combining cricket with Personal Training.

Diversity

Damian has been with Fitness Enhancement as a Personal Trainer for over six years, his favourite part of the job is the diversity of clients that he has had the privilege to train during his years as a personal trainer. Working both in the studio in Nerang and with mobile clients on the Gold Coast, Damian’s sessions are catered to his client’s individual goals, he mixes resistance training with influences from boxing and his own experiences as an athlete.
