Helene was preparing for the 100km Oxfam trailwalker

Demi's client HelenePreparation

Helene started training about 6 months ago to help prepare for the Oxfam trail walker – a challenging 100km walk through bushland over 48 hours to help raise money for people living in poverty. Helene wanted to improve her general health and fitness, and liked the idea of Personal Training to do something a bit different.

Improvements

She has now conquered the 100km walk and has noticed a variety of other improvements in her health and fitness. Helene feels fitter and stronger, she can now do full pushups with her greatly improved upper body strength, and is able to do many exercises she had never even contemplated doing previously including lunges, squats, kettlebells and other free weights.

Enjoyment and future goals

Helene really enjoys her Personal Trainer Demi in Essendon sense of humour and gentle encouragement through her sessions to ensure results with a good laugh!

 Favourite exercise : Boxing

Least favourite exercise: Burpees

Now that she has successfully completed the 100km Oxfam walk, Helene’s future goals include running a long distance, and/or something even bigger than the Oxfam!

Helene says “Thank you to Demi for getting me doing things I never thought I would or could”
