“I don’t have time to train” – adult version of “My dog ate my home work”

Fitness Enhancement Personal Trainer Neil Geddes, who is based in Aspley Brisbane doesn’t believe in any excuses when it comes to having time for training. Neil is a highly experienced Trainer, dad of three kids and our Fitness Enhancement Personal Training Aspley Franchisee. He also covers other suburbs in Brisbane such as Albany Creek and Bridgeman Downs.

Let’s be honest for just a moment here… Saying you don’t have time to train, well it’s kind of the adult version of “my dog ate my homework”!

The problem is, many people have said this so often, that they actually start to believe it. “I don’t have time to train” is usually followed by a swift supporting statement pulled deep from the excuse matrix.

“I have kids to look after”.

“I have to work”

“I have too much admin that needs to be done”

As a Personal Trainer, I can assure you I’ve heard them all. However, as a single Dad to three kids, running my own business, coaching my own full time client load, cleaning my own house, running my own errands AND training 5 times week… I’m here to tell you friends that yes, you do have time! And to prove this point, using nothing more than a whiteboard, a whiteboard marker and basic mathematics, I am going to strip this myth bare and prove that the excuse “I don’t have time to train” is no longer valid.

WARNING! Watching this video will mean you will have to dig even deeper into the excuse matrix not to train!
