Hammel Park in Beenleigh

Great place for exercise

Hammel park in Beenleigh is located on Hammel Street in Beenleigh, during the late afternoon it is used for rugby training but early morning and during the day it is a great place to work out and do various training drills. You can start off with a jog around the oval and then go in to some HIIT drill such as timed sprints, then you can do some explosive drills such one legged horizontal jumps, squat jumps, clap push ups and maybe some zig zag runs with cones. The park has a lot of room to do various drills and if you can get a group of people together it’s great for group exercise or maybe a game of rugby. There are some trees along the edge of the park which is a great place to cool down and go through some stretching drills or even just to take a break after your exercise. If you come down on the weekend you can catch a rugby game or a base ball game as there is a base ball field right next door.
