Client Kimberlee continues not to let her cerebral palsy slow her down!

Kimberlee started her Personal Training sessions with Trainer Damian in February 2016 having found many other places unwilling to train her due to her cerebral palsy. She was our client of the month in September 2016 and had lost 10 kg by then. Kimberlee has been workinKimberlee before and afterg extremely hard with her exercise and diet since then, and has manage to lose amazing 44 kilograms of her body weight in the 14 months she has been training at Fitness Enhancement 100% Private Studio! Kimberlee has done so amazingly well with achieving her goals, and is able to do things physically that she never believed she could do!

Setting new goals

When Kimberlee first started training she didn’t really have any specific goals. Now, with the help of her trainer Damian, she has managKimberlee bosu squated to achieve more than she thought was ever possible. Kimberlee has been trying out some Mobile Personal Training sessions, and has been completing steep stairs and hill walks in her sessions. She has also set some goals for her future training; she wants to climb up Mount Warning, which is a very challenging and long walk up a very steep hill. She would also like to complete an obstacle race in the future and climb up some more stairs! Kimberlee’s trainer Damian is constantly coming up with new challenging exercises to get her closer to her goals and to keep training interesting and fun for her improving fitness levels.

Anything is possible

Kimberlee has showed, that with consistency and determination, she can get the results that she never believed were possible. She has found a great new lifestyle that makes her feel good inside and out, and never wants to go back to her old ways. Kimberlee has noticed some great improvement in strength and functionality of her right hand, which is significantly affected by her cerebral palsy. She has been able to increase the intensity of her sessions, and has been completing high intensity boxing, kickboxing and other cardio drills in her sessions.

“I love squats and weighted one-arm rows, anything that will get me closer to my goal of climbing up Mount Warning.”

Kimberlee loves the encouraging atmosphere in the studio, and finds all the Trainers kind, respectful and helpful. She likes to come in a little prior to her session, and challenge herself on the treadmill and row machine, to get the most out of her sessions. She has recently started to do some running on the treadmill and around her street, and has been able to push herself even harder. To keep up her active lifestyle, Kimberlee has just gotten a bike, for her to get around and to keep her fitness going the right direction. She also plans to ride her bike to the studio a couple times a week. Kimberlee truly is an inspiration to anyone, trying to make a start with their fitness, and we are certain she will achieve all her future goals!

Favourite exercise:

I love all exercises given to me, especially boxing and kickboxing.

Least favourite exercise:

I have no least favourite exercise, I’ll give anything a go!
