5 Fit tips for mid-winter exercise

Winter fitness1. Set a goal

In winter it is too easy to forget about your goals and commitments, so write down a goal that works for you and then tell everyone about it. Then there is no way out of it.

2. Don’t get cold

Don’t walk around in sweaty clothes but instead get in the shower ASAP after your work out. If you are sweaty you will get cold, and that’s when the colds and flu attacks…

3. Try a new workout

If you are lacking inspiration at this time of the year, try something new. Sometimes we need to shake up our workout routine a bit to get new inspiration and motivation.

4. Exercise outdoors during the day

In winter we have beautiful sunny days, get outside and enjoy the fresh air, it is good for both your outside and inside!

5. Get some rest

Make sure you get your snooze hours every night, and if your body feels run down and exhausted it is probably time for a recovery week with less exercise and a massage instead.
